How long Garador’s warranty lasts
* Garador’s Reliability Warranty covers a Garador sectional door and a Genius HD, Genius or Precision opener bought as a package and registered: door components and labour (not springs) for 10 years, and the opener for 10 years or 20,000 cycles. The door’s surface coating is covered for 5 years, and tracks, remotes and accessories for 1 year. The door and opener must be serviced by an Authorised Garador Dealer within the first 12 months and every two years after. Warranties are provided by Garador (B&D Doors NZ Ltd).

The door
Every Garador sectional door carries a 5-year, 10,000-cycle warranty. The surface coating is covered for 5 years and tracks, remotes and accessories for 1 year.
Openers
Garador openers carry either a 5-year, 10,000-cycle or a 7-year, 20,000-cycle warranty depending on the model. Garador’s premium openers cover the whole opener, including the electronics, for 7 years.
The 10-year Reliability Warranty
Buy a Garador door and a qualifying opener together, register them, and keep to the service schedule, and the cover extends as below.

What keeps it valid
The conditionGarador doors and openers must be serviced within the first 12 months of installation and then once every 2 years by an Authorised Garador Dealer, and maintained as the owner’s handbook describes.
To keep it valid, register the package, keep to the service schedule, wash the door and keep water off the opener.
